 Biography

Welcome to the official website for Washington District 50 Schools. I am excited to work with a high quality instructional and support staff that put children first. District 50 Schools is a progressive district located on the western edge of Washington, Illinois and our students keep moving forward to attend Washington Community High School. Comprised of Beverly Manor School – which houses grades 4 through 8 – and John L. Hensey School – home to students in Early Childhood through grade 3 – the district’s primary focus is student learning. Our talented teachers and support staff, along with the Board of Education and administration, work hard every day to make our schools A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS.

I encourage everyone to view our mission and Strategic Plan document by accessing the link below. We hope you will join us in our commitment to providing a 21st Century education for our students.
