Hello District 50 Families!
First and foremost, we hope your Fourth of July was full of fun and appreciation for our country!
We are officially less than a month from the start of the 26-27 school year, so it's time to make the necessary health appointments, go out for school supplies, gather your proof of address verification forms, and prep your Skyward login (returning families) for the opening of our registration portal.
Returning families can register through Skyward starting on July 13th. *You must use the website and not the app.
New families to the district can begin registering in person at John L. Hensey (K-3rd) or Beverly Manor (4th-8th) on July 20th between 8:00-2:00.
Continue having a great summer. We will be ready for you soon and cannot wait to hear about how life is going!

🇺🇸 Day 3 in Washington, D.C.! 🇺🇸
Day 3 was packed with discovery, exploration, and hands-on learning as our Beverly Manor travelers continued their adventure through our nation's capital!
Students explored the fascinating exhibits at the National Air and Space Museum, getting an up-close look at historic aircraft, spacecraft, and innovations that have shaped aviation and space exploration. They also enjoyed interactive learning experiences that challenged them to think like scientists, engineers, and explorers.
The group then visited the U.S. Capitol, where students learned more about the legislative branch of government and the important work that takes place on Capitol Hill. During their visit, they had the opportunity to see spaces where lawmakers meet, discuss issues, and make decisions that impact our country.
Every stop reminds us that some of the best learning happens beyond the classroom walls. We are proud of how our students are representing Beverly Manor and making the most of this incredible opportunity!

🇺🇸 Day 2 in Washington, D.C.! 🇺🇸
Another incredible day of exploration and unforgettable experiences for our Beverly Manor travelers!
Today, our group visited some of our nation's most significant landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Marine Corps War Memorial. Students witnessed the precision and honor of the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, reflected on the sacrifices made by our nation's heroes, and stood in places where history comes alive.
From powerful moments of remembrance to exciting opportunities to explore our nation's capital, Day 2 was filled with meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.
To make it even crazier, they crossed paths with our soon to be retired supt. Dr. Allaman too! True signs that once you are a Wildcat, you are always a Wildcat!
📸 Check out some highlights from today's adventures!
