Important Notice for our D50 community and visitors: Weed Spraying on School Grounds We are informing parents, students, staff, and visitiors of an upcoming weed control application on school grounds. Here's what you need to know: Date: 6-19-26 (Friday) Location: John L Hensey Grounds & Playground + Beverly Manor Grounds, Playground, and Ball Diamonds Why are we spraying? Regular weed control helps maintain a safe and attractive environment for students, visitors, and athletes. What precautions are being taken? A licensed professional will be applying the herbicide according to all safety regulations. Signs will be posted in treated areas to inform people to stay out for a minimum 24 hour period (until the morning of Sunday, June 21st). What can you do? Please avoid entering the treated areas during the posted timeframe. If you have any concerns about the product being used or have questions about the application process, please contact our district office. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school grounds safe and healthy for everyone.
