It's the second week of Cross Country Fun Runs! Tonight we will have Superhero Night!! Dress as a superhero--fun activities planned (Villain Scavenger Hunt)! Meadow Valley Park 7-8pm! Open to all incoming 5th-8th graders!

Good morning Wildcats - we have experienced a slight hiccup with our online registration through Skyward. We thank you all for your patience while we get it corrected as soon as possible. We will update you as soon as we see it is available. Thank you!

We are so excited to see all of our Wildcats this upcoming school year! If you are a NEW student to District 50 - we will be holding in person registration hours for new students and families on Monday, July 17th from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at each of the school offices. Also - all of our returning student families can complete their registration ONLINE through Skyward beginning Monday, July 17th, until Monday August 7th. Mark your calendars for our BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT - we will be hosting a back to school night where students can drop off supplies and briefly meet your teachers on Wednesday, August 9th from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Mark your calendar for August 3!! John L. Hensey will have the Dream Center of Peoria's Mobile Hair Salon, from 10:00AM-2:00PM on site. 5 Points in Washington will be handing out school supplies and have an entertainment tent set up in the parking lot. There will be food and clothes available, too. ALL FOR FREE!! We can't wait to see you. Spread the word!


Attention Wildcats! We are so excited to see to get our sports and extracurriculars started for the 2023-2024 school year. Mark your calendars for upcoming tryout dates : Monday 7/24 and Tuesday 7/25, 10a.m.-12p.m. for Softball tryouts for all incoming 5th-8th grade girls. Monday 7/31 and Tuesday 8/1, 5:30p.m.-7:30p.m. and Wednesday 8/2, 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. for Baseball tryouts for all incoming 5th-8th grade boys. Please make sure you have a CURRENT sports physical on file.

Just a reminder to all D50 families - registration will open on Monday, July 17th for all returning students. Registration is completed ONLINE through Skyward, and must be completed by Monday, August 7th. Any questions, please visit our site's registration page, or call the school office.

**District 50 Painting Projects**
There will be outside painting projects taking place at both buildings tomorrow (Tuesday, July 11th). Please review the following areas to avoid interruptions to projects or a dreaded new coat of paint to your shoes, bikes, or vehicles!
Manor: Entire car drop off fire lane around building + Rear lot parking spaces
Hensey: Entire car drop off fire lane across front of building

Reminder that tonight is our first Cross Country Fun Run of the season!! Tonight we will have relay races and of course POPSICLES! Fun Runs will be from 7-8pm Monday and Wednesdays for the month of July! Cross Country is open to 5th-8th graders! Hope to see you there!!


There will be no Softball Open Fields on Tuesday, July 4th. Also, please note the change in Softball Tryouts - Tryouts will now be held on Monday July 24th, and Tuesday July 25th from 10:00-12:00. Please make sure you have a current sports physical on file before tryouts.

Good morning! Please make sure you join us for free summer breakfast or lunch each week day until June 14th. Our breakfast is from 8:30-9:00, and lunch is served from 11:30-12:00. This is a free meal for any child up to age 18. You can take your breakfast to go, and come join us for lunch at Beverly Manor.


Just a friendly reminder that our summer meals program is happening each week day at Beverly Manor. Come by and grab a free breakfast and/or lunch for any child up to age 18. Breakfast is served 8:30-9; and lunch is served 11:30-12. Also - if you have an incoming 4th grader who may be a little nervous about coming to the new building, have them stop by today or tomorrow to eat lunch and talk with Mr. Sharp in the cafeteria.

Attention to anyone who is interested in running! WCHS is holding a distance running camp this summer for all incoming 5th-8th graders! This is another great opportunity to try out distance running, and you get a t-shirt to match! All information regarding the camp is listed in the photo below, as well as a picture of the shirt!
