HOME 6TH GRADE BASKETBALL TONIGHT @ 530 PM

Our Manor teachers submit star students each month that exemplify the Will of a Wildcat (Cooperative, Always Responsible, Treating others with Respect, and Safety).
Congrats to our nominees for the month of January!!
Erin Sale: Erin goes above and beyond in the classroom. She helps clean the room, has given students help with their work, and is an overall leader. She is a model for every student!
Alex Olivares: He has been asking to help around the classroom lately and has been doing much better on his academics. He's trying harder on assignments and asking for help when needed. He is also always so kind to everyone!
Rylie DeArcos: Rylie always enters the room with a smile and is encouraging to others in the classroom. Her positive attitude is a wonderful part of our classroom.
Noah Mordhorst: Noah always brings a smile and positive energy into our classroom. He is quick to join in class discussions and takes pride in doing his schoolwork well.
Triston Crowder: Triston tells Mr. Poole and I "Good Morning" everyday coming in from the bus. He is also very polite and respectful in the library and computers.
Alex Linneman: Alex recognised an issue in his friend group at lunch, and initiated a conversation with adults that led his group to make a few minor changes that would support everyone getting along. I admire Alex for stepping up and helping his friends get along.

Reminder-tomorrow, Thursday February 16th is Spring Picture Day! All Hensey students will be getting their photo taken.

I don't know about you all, but one of the best life skills to learn must be baking...especially when it is cookies with frosting!
Miss McCoy's students are having a blast baking, decorating, devouring and the worst part....cleaning the dishes.

Arguing isn't too enjoyable at home, but boy is it fun when in a debate forum.
Our 8th grade students are in a battle of the wits in Mrs. Sonderman's class as they express their positions on various topics (cell phones, PE requirements, etc.)
Look out WCHS. They are primed for the debate team!
And for our families, next time you hear an argument, make them prove it with hard cold research and facts.

Congratulations to our Super Bowl quiz winners!
Noah Mordhorst and Landen Brown were a couple of the first through the building and had both answers correct with 43 yards of difference in rushing and then 65 total passes x 2 for 130 passes.
An honorary mention goes out to Colton Behm for finding the difference in QB pass yards for the entire season and to Dylan Forinash for finding double the pass yards in the game!
Math is everywhere!

Circle round Chess fans,
Mr. Biedscheid and his crew have their strategies and schemes ready to attack the competition. Watch them strice to take down their opponents' King on Saturday, Feb. 18th from 8:00-2:30.
Go CATS!!

Family time and football!
The only thing better is adding in some math!
Mr. Sharp wants to add in a real world challenge to your sports viewing tonight...are you up for it?
The first two students to bring correct answers (on paper) to the Math problems below will win a snack and chat time with the principal on Monday morning. Any 4th grade-8th grade student is eligible to win. Parents may need to help pull some end of game data research, but make your kids find those math keywords!
Question #1: What was the difference between the Eagles total rushing yards and the Chiefs?
Question #2: What is two times the sum of passes thrown by Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts?
