Mobile Food Distribution!

Where: Hensey playground- enter on west side, exit on east side
Who: Anyone in need
In partnership with the Peoria Area Food Bank, District 50 is offering a mobile food distribution (while supplies last). Simply arrive anytime between 4:30 and 6:00pm on Tuesday, October 5th. Pull into the Hensey back lot/playground and let us know how many boxes you need. We will bring it to your car, no need to get out and no questions asked! WCHS is hosting a free Volleyball camp for any students in 5th or 6th grade. 5th grade is Friday Oct. 1st and 6th grade is Sat. Oct. 2nd.

Just a reminder, the D50 PTC fundraiser is coming to an end on 9/29. Students who reach the goal of $60 each (per student) will be able to participate in the Day of Awesomeness! We are accepting online donations through tomorrow, and any cash or checks can be sent to your front office by then also. Thank you for all of your continued support! Way to go Wildcats!

Students are beginning the geometry unit in math class! We are learning about transformations; translations (movements), rotations (turns), reflections (flip) and dilations (reduction/enlargement).
We have been creating artwork to show the transformations.
