Hey Manor families,
My apologies on the slight delay, but I am excited nonetheless to share our students of the month for Dec/Jan. Congrats everyone!
Braelynd Anderson: Braelynd was a new move-in student to the district, but his words and actions are clearly fused with our Wildcat mission. He shows patience, kindness, and is quick to brighten your day with a genuine inquiry about how you are feeling each morning. Big things to come for this guy!
Audra Kincaid: Audra is such a joy to have in class. She has come out of her shell since the beginning of the year and her personality is so fun to be around. She is a very hard worker and will participate in classroom discussions. She gets along with everyone in class and is willing to help me out even when I don't ask. Audra was out on quarantine for quite a bit before Christmas break and she worked so hard to stay on top of her work while she was at home and reached out and advocated for herself when she needed it.
Addison Mordhorst: Addison is a role model student in/out of the classroom. She leads by example; takes pride in her work by always trying her best, is genuinely kind to others and takes initiative to help others around her succeed.
Jude Peters: Jude has done well this month in class. He has been participating and helping others with Math content.
Kevan Ingold: Kevan is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen! He is always giving his best effort in class, and is always ready to contribute to discussions and help his classmates. He also works hard to be a great addition to the band, choir, and basketball team. Kevan is always setting a great example of how to be responsible and respectful!
Chase Bickel: Chase is a very positive and hard working person. He goes above and beyond on his schoolwork and is always willing to help a friend or a staff member. You can often find him working the concessions stand at D50 games! Chase has come a long way this year and he is an excellent role model for other students.
Jillian Black-Lester: Jill is always helpful to her classmates in complying with classroom expectations. Whenever she sees students in her pod off task, she helps to get them on task. She also tries her best on all class activities and asks questions to make sure she understands.
Trezdyn Edgell: Trezdyn is so kind to every student he encounters. He gets along with anyone! He has a great sense of humor and is helpful to staff and students.
Haley Ashley: Haley is a great example of the Wildcat Spirit! She is friendly and courteous to all students and staff members. Haley is always willing to help others.

We are writing to inform you that next week - starting Monday, February 14th - our schools will switch to YELLOW (masks required in classrooms and masks recommended in common spaces). Common spaces include school entrances, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and libraries. Masks must still be worn on school buses, which is a federal requirement. If COVID-19 numbers in our district continue to remain low, we anticipate moving to GREEN (masks recommended inside school buildings) the following week. This is consistent with our Safe Return Plan that does not rely on the state mandates.
