Unfortunately our Choir concert that was set to take place at 1:00 pm at school today will be cancelled due to a key staff member's absence.

The recently posted student council spirit/dress up days are for Beverly Manor students. Hensey students will continue to follow our December calendar of dress up days! Sorry for any confusion!
It's the holiday season and our Student Council team drafted some great spirit week days to send us off into our Winter Break!
We are excited to see the outfits next week!

Macy Hyatt: "Macy always has a positive attitude and strives to do her best in all her work. She is always wanting to participate in classroom discussions and is always on top of making sure all her work is done. She gets along with everyone and is excellent at helping others when they need it. It has been so fun to see her personality shine as she has gotten comfortable in the classroom."
Ethan Ferraro: "Ethan has come out of his shell so much this year already. He actively will participate in lessons and has let his awesome personality shine. He is always staying on top of his work so he never has anything missing and is great at wanting to help others understand what they are working on. Ethan is always very respectful to his teacher and peers and stays out of trouble. he is a great role model to his classmates! "
Morgan Carlyle: "Morgan is very respectful, participates, and is responsible getting her work completed. She is great quiet role model for other students in the classroom. She never needs warnings to do what is expected of her."
Elizabeth Hiland: "Elizabeth has a great attitude. She has gone above and beyond outside the classroom to memorize music early and is becoming a leader among her peers in the classroom."
Isabelle Wade: "Isabelle is always on task and helpful. She helps others around her to be on task and successful!"
Annie Ellenberg: "Annie is a very hard worker. She continuously follows directions and is respectful to everyone that she encounters throughout the day. She's a joy to have in class this year."
Jacey Hawkins: "Jacey is kind and cheerful. She takes the time to help her peers when they need help. She always tries her best in whatever she does."
Pierce Bernius: "Very kind, courteous, and willing to learn new things. He helps and shows empathy for others."
Boy's Bball Practice Tonight - 4:00-5:15pm
TONIGHT'S BOYS BASKETBALL GAME CANCELLED... our home boy's basketball game with Peoria Pleasant Hill has been cancelled.
Dear Parents and Staff:
We are writing to inform you that three students from the same fifth grade classroom at Beverly Manor School have tested positive for COVID-19. With regard to these COVID-19 positive results, we have determined the following:
1) OUR SCHOOLS WILL REMAIN OPEN.
2) We are suspending in-person learning for students and staff from that classroom while we work with the Tazewell County Health Department to determine the extent of exposures and other steps needed to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
3) Authorized staff members are working this evening to contact parents of children from the affected classroom and the staff members who work in that classroom.
The health and safety of our school community is our highest priority. We appreciate the care and cooperation shown by the entire Wildcats Community during the pandemic. We want to encourage our families to continue to monitor their children for symptoms of COVID-19 before sending them to school each day. The three most common symptoms include: fever, cough and shortness of breath.
