Registration Time is Quickly Approaching: Please review the following registration newsletter and the key summary points below prior to the July 6th opening for online registration of returning students (New student dates and in-building dates are provided in the newsletter as well for those without computer access): 1. Families with incoming K, 2nd, or 6th graders will need to pay close attention to exams for Physical, Dental, Vision, and Immunization Requirements prior to the Aug. 7th start date. *Please schedule these as soon as possible. D50 parents: Softball open fields will be held July 13th-17th and July 20th-24th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. each day. This is open to 6th-8th grade girls who are interested in playing softball for the upcoming school season. From Christopher McCall, McCall Law offices of Peoria: “For the 2021 - 2022 school year, I am looking for fifth through eighth grade students who are interested in the law for a mock trial program. There is no minimum GPA requirement. The program will be FREE. With attorneys and retired judges, we plan to have mock trials in the Peoria County areas. Let’s plan the next generation of Peoria trial lawyers together. If you know any student interested, let me know. All incoming 7th and 8th grade basketball players are invited to work on fundamental basketball skills with Coach O and Coach Sam at Beverly Manor! Check it out!!! Washington Virtual Basketball Camp What started as a Central camp has now expanded to the whole town of Washington. Players and coaches are developing videos weekly to improve and maintain your basketball skills. What: Starting next week all Washington coaches (middle school and high school) will be hosting a virtual basketball camp. Each week new drills will be posted on Google Classroom working on ball handling, footwork, and shooting drills (we will be as creative as possible if you don't have a hoop). Who: all incoming 4th-8th graders When: starting the week of June 8th- July 31st Why: to improve your skills and stay active over the summer. Good morning Wildcat Parents, We wanted to remind you that report cards for 3rd-8th grade are available to view through your online Skyward portal. Also, when signing into Skyward, all parents/guardians will see a new dashboard tile highlighted in green. This green tile is a Demographics tile that will automatically update the school's records with your personal information such as phone number, address, or emails. Please fill out the sections on this tile in Skyward so we can accurately reach you about District news and upcoming registration! We would love to have all parent information updated by June 5th and hopefully this tile makes it quick and easy for you. Don't forget to double check spelling and numbers so we have the right info. If you do not remember you Skyward password, you can click Forgot Password to have a new link sent to your email on file or email your building principal. Thank you!

Come join us in a motor parade for our graduates! We will lineup on Saturday, May 30th at 5:30pm at Rocor in Sunnyland and follow NTFD throughout the Sunnyland area. Please follow social distancing guidelines. Have your grad wear their gown if they have one! We encourage you to decorate your vehicles: streamers, balloons, posters, pics, window paint, etc. Get creative! Encourage your friends and family to lineup along the parade route, social distancing of course. They can send their congrats with signs, shout outs, etc. An alternate rain date will be made up if the forecast is rain.
