Good morning D50 Community,
Calling all artists and creative minds! Please take a look at this unique opportunity from Google. They are hosting a Doodle for Google event with the theme of "I show kindness by..." and are inviting students to be creative and show ways that they can be kind.
The contest opened Jan. 6th and goes through March 13, 2020. 54 students will be named winners from their state and five finalists will be flown to Google's headquarters where 4 will win a $5,000 scholarship and one student will win a $30,000 college scholarship, a $50,000 Google for Education tech package for their school, and have their artwork placed on Google's homepage for a day.
We have some spectacular artists and this would be a great way to have some family fun in brainstorming an idea and have the possibility of major rewards!
Let the creativity fly and show kindness!
