Congrats to our Track Team, who had several qualify for State. Here is this week's activities.
Today was another GREAT day for D50 Wildcat Track and Field team! They participated in the 2A Sectional at Colfax/Ridgeview, as one of 14 teams with TOUGH competition!
The sectional placers are as follows:
8th grade girls 4x100m relay-Arriann Jackson, Raeona Brown, Kyla Lawrence and Aaliyah Johnson-6th place
8th grade boys 4x400m relay-Micah Jackson, Zane Heubi, Alex Linnemann, and Preston Davis-4th place
7th grade boys 1600m-Jonah Rose-5th place
7th grade boys 400m-Preston Davis-2nd place
8th grade boys 1600m-Alex Linnemann-3rd place
8th grade boys 800m-Alex Linnemann-2nd place (after a face plant fall and barrel roll up only 100m into the race 💪🏼)
State Qualifiers for next weekend's IESA 1A/2A Track Meet that will take place Friday and Saturday at Eastside Center are as follows:
8th grade boys 4x400m relay-Micah Jackson, Zane Heubi, Alex Linnemann, Preston Davis and Jonah Rose
7th grade boys 400m-Preston Davis
8th grade boys 1600m-Alex Linnemann
**Preston Davis also broke a track and field school record in the 400m that has been held since 1987 by J. Bealor with 59.90-the new record shall go down as P. Davis - 58.81**

Thank you for making our Book Fair amazing and creating memories that will last a lifetime! All Beverly Manor after school extracurricular activities are as planned tonight, except writer's club will end at 3:30pm. Please be prompt getting your student tonight from practices since there could be potential bad weather.
