All Chicken Dinner orders need to be turned in to the school front offices today (with money) We are turning in the order to Countryside and will distribute everyone's tickets that need to go to families. Thank you again for all your support for District 50 PTC!
There will be a District 50 Parent Teacher Club meeting on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:30 p.m. held in the Beverly Manor Library. We will be discussing the fundraisers that end this week, and also our upcoming plans for the next couple of months. We would love to see parents there so you can hear about things coming up, and learn of ways you may be able to help this school year! We love seeing some new faces at the meetings, and hope to continue seeing more while we discuss some exciting things we are planning for the students, teachers, family and community!
Attention all John L. Hensey families! Last night was the best time and we want the fun to continue! Join us on Tuesday, October 31 for our annual Halloween parade at 10am. This event is subject to change due to inclement weather. More details will be sent home with your child.

Attention Wildcat families and staff,
Broadleaf spraying has been scheduled for Saturday, October 28th at both buildings while staff and students are not in attendance. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we ask that all visitors and athletic groups make different arrangements for your planned activities @ Beverly Manor and John L. Hensey School during this date. Our building grounds will open again the following morning Sunday, October 29th.

We have about another 10 days to keep collecting donations for the District 50 PTC fall fundraiser. Kids - keep working hard to collect those donations and you can win some great prizes and a Wildcat Day of Fun with inflatables, shaved ice, and games! Also - don't forget if as a district we make our donation goal - Mr. Sharp and Mr. Zaiser will cruise around the school on Big Wheels, and maybe have to kiss a farm animal! This year’s Witches Walk will take place indoors on Thursday, October 26 from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Families will travel from classroom to classroom collecting candy. Staff members will have doors decorated so families can vote for their favorite door. The winning door will receive a donut party!
Feel free to make it extra fun by dressing the kids up in their costumes!

Thanks to everyone who donated to John L. Hensey's costume drive! We received over 70 costumes! Our students will be so excited when they come for their next shopping trip to our Wildcat Cares store!

NTFD Open House is Saturday, October 14th from 11:00am-2:00pm
Come learn about fire safety, meet Sparky the Fire Dog, take a fire engine ride, try on real fire gear!
NTFD will also be handing out Halloween candy at the fire station from 5-7:00pm.

Tomorrow, October 13, is the last day to drop off any new or gently used, clean Halloween costumes for the Wildcat Cares store at John L. Hensey. You can drop off costumes in the office. Thanks for all of the support!
Manor Students and Families - next week on Wednesday, October 18th we will have picture retake day for Manor students. If you would like your child to participate in retake day, please make sure to let them know. Also, if you ordered a picture package but are getting retakes, please send your child with the previous package - so you can receive the new picture package after retakes. Any order forms can be picked up in the front office. Thank you!

Attention Wildcats - there are some exciting things coming up - Volleyball open gyms are beginning soon. They will be held the following days from 2-4 p.m. Sunday 10/22; Sunday 10/29; Saturday 11/4; Saturday 11/11; Saturday 11/18. They will be held in the Manor gym. This is a great opportunity to come out and practice skills leading up to tryouts.
