Following the District’s Student Registration for both schools in July (SKYWARD opens online on the 19th & NEW STUDENTS in-person on the 22nd), bus assignments and times for pick-up/drop-off of bus riders will become available. Aside from receiving new (air-conditioned) buses which may result in number/color changes for your child, two other adjustments have been made to better ensure reliable transportation to and from school. The modifications revert to past practices and align with required guidelines for bus services. With an eye on improving transportation for eligible bus riders in the District and finding ways to operate more efficiently (i.e. bus drivers, buses, fuel, etc.--overall financial resources used), the following adjustments have been made:
AUGUSTA DRIVE - Bus riders who will be picked up from and/or dropped off at Augusta Lane, will do so at the ENTRANCE TO AUGUSTA DRIVE (@ the Eagle Ridge sign).
ERNEST & PEACH / MANOR RIDERS - The bus stop @ Ernest & Peach Streets will NO LONGER BE A STOP FOR MANOR STUDENTS. *It will continue to be a bus stop for HENSEY RIDERS ONLY.
Please reach out to the District Transportation Director, Brett Lawless with any questions – blawless@d50schools.com – 309.444.3167. Thank you!
