A school bus carrying 14 students who attend Beverly Manor School in Washington was involved in an accident this morning – January 24, 2023 – at the intersection of Washington Road and Bess Street in Sunnyland. The students and driver were examined at the scene by EMT’s and no injuries were reported. After being released by the EMT’s, the students and bus driver were transported to their school on another bus. Parents of students riding the bus were contacted by the school. Details related to how the accident occurred are pending the police report being released.

Tonight is the night! You won't want to miss out on this year's Drama Club performance of Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery. Come on down to the Connect Center in Washington to enjoy the show. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm. There will also be a raffle drawing for those who are able to guess the murderer.
