District 50 Family Announcements!
1. As we are shaking off the winter break, it is important to remember that both schools have early dismissals every Wednesday! Dismissals for each building are (Manor 1:30) and (Hensey 2:00).
2. Speaking of Winter....the weather isn't playing nice anymore and that means hats, gloves, and jackets are crucial. Don't forget that sweatshirts and hoodies can't compare to the warmth of a winter jacket! (Lost your winter jacket?? Come check our lost and found)
3. Manor only announcement: Our school spelling bee competition takes place today. Join us online to cheer your child or every child on!

The Beverly Manor Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, January 27th. We will begin at 8 am and will stop when a winner has been determined. Please feel free to tune into our livestream (to be posted Thursday morning) of the event if you would like to watch and cheer on our spellers. Hensey had two wonderful guests this morning! We had two coaches from the Washington Park District come into our 3rd grade PE class and do a Lacrosse demonstration! Students were able to use their equipment and take part in an introduction to the game! For those interested, there is a FREE clinic tomorrow evening, Saturday, January 22nd at BK Sluggers from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for students in 3rd - 8th grade. Any siblings (3rd grade -8th grade) can also attend! Again, there is no charge for the clinic and you do not have to sign up...just show up! Hope a few of our Hensey and Manor kiddos can attend!😀

HENSEY AFTERNOON BUS CHANGES TOMORROW: Due to Green Bus #99 being out of service in the afternoon, Green #99 riders will ride Purple Bus #55 home. Green Bus #99 Riders will be dropped off up to 15 mins later than usual. Purple Bus #55 riders will be dropped off at approx the same time. *The regular morning and afternoon schedules will be in place again on Wednesday. Thanks for your continued patience & flexibility!
