Dear Washington District 50 Parents and Staff: Governor Pritzker announced today that Illinois is moving to Tier 3 mitigation for all 11 regions on Friday at 12:01a.m.  Currently, moving to Tier 3 does not impact or address in-person learning for school districts. As a result, we plan to keep our schools open.  We are actively monitoring the situation and seeking guidance from the Tazewell County Health Department. We continue to seek feedback from district stakeholders and we will communicate if there is a change in plans.  Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to navigate the pandemic.  Sincerely, Chad Allaman, Superintendent

Beverly Manor Families, We recently had our fire alarm system notify us of a concern. The building was immediately evacuated and the Northern Tazewell Fire Dept. arrived. The source was from a microwave producing smoke. All students are safe and accounted for. Students will renter the building after we receive the all clear.
